Operative hysteroscopy is performed under general anesthesia in a fully equipped and sterile operating room environment. During this procedure, intrauterine pathologies such as polyps, fibroids, septum, or adhesions can be treated. The procedure duration typically ranges from 20 to 45 minutes depending on the intervention. Patients are usually discharged on the same day, although short-term hospitalization may be required in certain cases. Patients are required to fast for at least 6–8 hours prior to the procedure. Pre-operative blood tests and anesthesia evaluation are conducted beforehand. A special medical fluid is used during the procedure to ensure clear visualization and safe surgical intervention within the uterine cavity.
