Prof. Dr. Hasan Basri Arifoğlu was born in Kayseri in 1979. He graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology specialization in 2010 at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. After fulfilling his compulsory service, he worked in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery between 2012 and 2017. He is a member of several national and international ophthalmology associations, and he became an Associate Professor in 2017 and a Professor in 2023.
